In an interesting turn of events this week, Ford has just launched a new campaign titled “From America, For America,” and it has a very appealing offer: employee pricing on new Ford vehicles — for everyone. Yes, you read that correctly: no matter who you are, whether you work for Ford Motors or not, you have access to and can enjoy the Ford employee discount when you purchase (and in some cases lease) a new Ford vehicle.
There are some details about the Ford Employee discount, the different Ford Plans for discounts, and which vehicles they apply to that we’ll need to go over, so read on to learn all there is to know about Ford employee pricing.
What is Ford Employee Pricing?
As the name implies, Ford employee pricing lowers the overall cost of a vehicle for Ford employees to (sometimes) be less than what a dealership pays to get the vehicle from Ford. If you look at the MSRP of a vehicle that qualifies for employee pricing, the price you’d pay will be much lower than that. This is an incredible amount of savings and requires no additional incentives, offers, or negotiation to achieve.
It should be noted that since you’re effectively buying the vehicle from Ford manufacturing through the dealership, you’re purchasing at what’s called the “invoice price.” It may be possible to find additional incentives for employee pricing, so it’s best to ask your local Ford dealership for more information.
Ford Employee Pricing Plans
There are three Ford employee plans currently available, designated by employment status within the Ford organization.
Ford A Plan: This is for full-time workers currently employed by Ford, as well as:
- Spouses
- Spouse’s parents
- Children
- Grandchildren
Ford Z Plan: This is for retired full-time workers from the Ford family, as well as:
- Spouses
- Spouse’s parents
- Children
- Grandchildren
Ford X Plan: This plan is for people who work for companies, charities, and organizations that partner with Ford.
In terms of the best pricing deals, the A and Z plans by Ford provide the best savings. The good news is the From America, For America campaign offers everyone the pricing of the A Plan.
Notes on the Ford Employee Pricing
As we mentioned, not every vehicle is included in this campaign, though many are, including many Lincoln sedans and SUVs. Vehicles that are currently excluded are:
- Bronco Raptor trim
- Bronco Stroppe Edition
- The Expedition
- Lincoln Navigator
- Mustang GTD
- Mustang Dark Horse
- F-150 Raptor trim
- Ranger Raptor trim
- F-Series Super Duty Trucks
On the flip side, for Geneseo shoppers interested in electric vehicles, Ford is extending its Power Promise campaign. This means that when you purchase a Ford electric vehicle, such as the Mustang Mach-E, you receive a free charging station for your home. Ford will also cover some, if not all, of the installation costs.
