If you aren’t a fan of the other horse-named Ford sedan, the Mustang, and prefer an equally powerful model in the shape of an SUV to roam the wilderness, you absolutely need to know about the 2026 Ford Bronco. Multiple available engines and a host of features make every drive an adventure, whether you choose the paved roads of Geneseo or the open trails. If you’ve been in the market for a new SUV, read on to find out why the 2026 Ford Bronco outpaces the competition.

2026 Ford Bronco Specs

The 2026 Bronco has three engine options, each increasing in horsepower and thrills. The base engine is a 2.3L turbocharged four-cylinder with 300 horsepower. The next step up is a 2.7L turbo V-6 that makes 330 horsepower. The last engine is only available on the 2026 Ford Bronco Raptor, which is a 3.0L turbo V-6 that delivers a whopping 418 horsepower. The 2.3L engines can be equipped with either a seven-speed manual or 10-speed auto transmission. The 2.7L normally has 10-speed automatic, but some 2026 Bronco trims offer the seven-speed manual as well. The 3.0L on the Raptor only pairs with the 10-speed auto transmission.

A 4x4 drivetrain, otherwise known as four-wheel drive, is the standard across all trims. Higher Bronco trims get an advanced version of this 4x4 drivetrain system. All Broncos feature an independent front suspension for some of the best handling in the SUV class. With all of this power, when properly equipped, the Bronco can tow up to 3,500 lbs.

If you’re looking for the best 2026 Ford Bronco MPG, you’ll want the 2.3L engine, which delivers approximately 18 MPG in the city and 22 MPG on the highway. The more powerful engines won’t return the same numbers, but it’s part of the trade-off to have more ponies under the hood.

2026 Ford Bronco Exterior Features

Here are some interesting exterior features: 35” tires made for the mud and electronic locking front and rear differentials. Here’s an even more interesting feature: the doors and roof can be removed for open air drives (though this is best saved for when summer rolls around again). Who needs a sunroof when the whole thing can come off?

2026 Ford Bronco Interior Features

It’s sleek, it lives up to the sporty part of its name, it’s controlled comfort in the face of near chaos under the hood. The materials are tough and rugged to withstand the option to open up the vehicle to the elements. Whether you choose the two-door or four-door variant, there’s plenty of space for up to five passengers, though some options cap the seating at four. The interior space specs clock in at 99 cubic feet for the two-door and 105.7 cubic feet for the four-door; like we said, plenty of space.

For cargo space, two-door models get 52.3 cubic feet of cargo space at the max, and the four-doors get 77.6 cubic feet. If you like your space, or want your backseat passengers to have a little extra lounge area, the four-door is the one to choose.

Cloth seating is standard; leather is available. Heated seats are an option, but USB ports are standard in the front and back. Other than that, it’s a comfortable ride, but the real fun is when you’re driving. That said, the tech is nice.

The infotainment system is 12” and has wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™; native navigation is optional, though the higher trims have it standard. Ambient lighting is also available, and very nice.

2026 Ford Bronco 60th Anniversary

The Bronco debuted in 1965, so it gets a few extra gifts for its 60th birthday. Bold colors on the outside and a retro styled exterior (complete with side panel racing stripes) make it look like a time traveler that got the best new suit it could find. The interior gets gussied up as well with Ebony leather upholstery and some stunning logos in the seats. The interior gets red accents to really hammer home the luxury and elevate the ride. It’s worth a look for a once-in-a-lifetime model.

2026 Ford Bronco Pricing

For what it delivers, the 2026 Ford Bronco doesn’t break the bank, but it can get up there, rivaling the luxury vehicles you first think of when you hear the term. That said, the Bronco has a durability for the dirt that others don’t, and being able to drive in open air with the doors and top off is a rare experience. Here are all the 2026 Ford Bronco trims with their starting prices:

  • 2026 Ford Bronco Base: $40,495
  • 2026 Ford Bronco Big Bend: $40,995
  • 2026 Ford Bronco Outer Banks: $48,090
